Day 68 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 68 of lockdown journal and it was definitely a very hot day I think I must have drunk about 7 liters of water.

Today was an alright day, I woke up too late to go out and do anything because I did not get much sleep but then that girl wanted me to see here so I drove to hers and I went to see her for a bit and we sat and talked about stuff. I also cleaned another one of my little projects out again today and I have spent a lot of time at the computer trying to get more blog posts out but then I got distracted and started to watch Simpsons.

Tomorrow, I am going to go to my nan's house to check in on her and also use her garden so that I can give my car a good cleaning as it really needs one. It will be very nice to check in on her after not seeing her for so long and it will be nice to just hear them and speak with them as I do miss them a lot. Tomorrow should be a better day compared with today and I have been making some small progress with the coding of the blog page so I will try and do some more of that tomorrow.

Things are still strange between me and that girl but I think they are starting to look up again but every time I say this I get played and something else happens so I am just taking everything as it comes and not getting my hopes up for anything as something else will probably happen. I know that there is a chance that it won't happen and I really hope nothing does happen in a bad way so we will just have to see how it goes. 

I have got a charity gig on Wednesday and I am not sure what to do for it as I know that there are going to be a lot more people turning up to that one compared with the ones that I do on Friday but it is always nice just to do that little bit extra for charity. 

It should be good weather tomorrow so it will be nice to spend some of it outdoors cleaning my car as I have not cleaned my car out in a very long time it has been sat in the drive gathering lots of dust. If I get the chance I will do some more research into some more coding to try and make this page look a bit better so if you see some new changes don't be shocked. I will also make a post when I think that I am done with the changes so you can tell me what you think of them.

Google Delete Millions Of Negative Tik Tok Reviews

I am sure by now you have probably heard of the app called Tik Tok and you will have seen videos from there posted online but recently it has come under fire from more of the mature users.

Tik Tok is an app that lets you create short videos for you to share with your friends and a lot of random people online. It was a remake of the popular video-sharing app called vine and then was brought in to musically it is kind of a combination of both. Recently Google decided to delete millions of negative reviews from its play store because they have got some sort of partnership and they want to protect the image of the app.

Google spoke out about this and said they deleted them because they were all fake and that they were not real reviews of the app. This started because of a feud in the Indian community on the app and how one user of the app ( Amir Siddique with 3.4 Million Followers ) called out Youtube creators about how they roast Tik Tok creators.  

These reviews made the app rating of Tik Tok drop from 4.5 to 1.2 in just a few days which is catastrophic. After Google deleted all of these 1-star reviews all they had to say was that it was corrective action. They did not delete 2-star views just all of the 1-star reviews for over 5 million reviews, the worst thing is this is not the only controversy that has happened on Tik Tok.

There have been lots of accounts of pedophiles and lots of cyberbullying and people talking to underaged children on these apps. You can also message other people on this app so if you or any of your friend's children have got this app I would suggest you check what they post as a lot of the content on there can be very seductive for younger people.

This has always been a very strange app and I have never been fond of it because of the seductive nature of the dances and the fact that people of all ages have this app and there are people out there in this world that would use this app for a negative reason.

Google deleted the reviews of this app to try and keep the image of this app as positive as possible because of the amount of the number of users that this app brings in. This will bring lots of revenue for google so they have to protect the image of this app so they can keep this revenue stream coming.

Please stay safe whilst using apps online and check to see what your children are doing on this app and what they have posted or shared with people.

Day 67 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 67 of my lockdown journal and today was a meh kind of day nothing exciting or anything like that just not a lot happening. 

Day 67 Of Lockdown Journal

Today was a very meh kind of day it was filled with lots of ups and downs. The ups where the fact that my parcels have come and that now I get to go out for the day tomorrow without having to wait in for them and the other good part was the fact that I had work. I also managed to get a good workout in as well today which was very good and made me feel a bit better.

Tomorrow I am not going to be in the house for most of the day I just want some time away from my house just outside. I am not sure where I will go or what will happen I just know that I am going to be out as I just need some time away from everything. I will post as soon as I am back in so stay tuned for that if I am not too tired and don't end up just coming in and going to sleep.

For the past few days I have been arguing with that girl that I have been seeing and then today she told me just to leave her so I have. I really didn't think that she would say that after everything. We tried to speak on the phone about it but there was not much talking and then told me to do that so I have. I am not sure if it is going to last but I couldn't keep up with it anymore. I was hoping that she would phone me back saying that she loves me and that if I am free tomorrow she would love to come and spend the day with me to talk about. She didn't.

I always get my hopes up for something to happen and then it never does so now I am just as confused as I was before as now I have no idea what to do. I wanted her to change she didn't I wanted her not to lie to me she didn't I wanted her to phone me telling she is sorry but she is seeing me tomorrow she wants me to come and pick her up so that we can talk about it but that never happened. I hoped that she would ring and ask me exactly what I am doing tomorrow so that she could do it with me and talk about things between us so that we could get somewhere. 

In some brighter news I have managed to get my project to wor better and no it is not perfect but it is better so that is all that matters. It took many attempts to do it but now I am finally happy with it. Let's hope and pray for a better day tomorrow no matter what happens. I wanted her to be my girlfriend again show me off and all that good stuff but no that hasn't happened.

I am a bit sore from the workout that I did today but it is okay I am sure that after a few more days of working out I will get some more muscle or there will at least my body will be in a bit better physical condition.

Racism And Riots

Throughout the past few days, there has been a lot more media coverage of racism and injustice because of the cold-blooded murder of George Floyd.

There have been lots of good points made like who do you call when the killer wheres a badge and there have been so many peaceful protests but instead of the media covering these peaceful protests they are choosing to cover the negative light of the riots that this has caused.

In my opinion, it was not right what happened to him but this sort of racism happens every day and it goes unnoticed, we all know that it is a big problem everywhere around the world but because something drastic like this has happened then the media are covering it like files around well you know. This is a topic that should be covered every day if it is still happening. These riots have caused more innocent people to die for standing up for there rights. 

The police officer that killed George needs to be put down and tried for murder because that what it was there is no other way to look at it. George was not trying to resist anything the officer was just abusing his power and then eventually George could not take anymore and stopped breathing because of the sheer force that this officer held over him.   

Stories like this will always get a lot more media coverage because it sparks a reaction out of the audience as it should do but this an everyday problem that happens. It is not just in America where something like this happens it is worldwide and it should have stopped a long time ago. Everyone is supposed to be the same we are all part of one bigger race and that is the human race. We should all be equal there should not be an in the balance of justice, just because he was wearing a badge does not mean he should be treated any different from all of the other murderers. 

None of this should have happened in the first place but now that it has it is time for a change even if that means more peaceful protests or more riots until something happens about the events that have happened. Something serious needs to come of this as none of it is fair no matter what the color of his skin is it is the actions of the officer to the defenseless human being. 

We need to stop the violence between ourselves for the a bigger threat if you were looking at this world from a different point of you view you would see a supposedly intelligent species starting a war within our selves for no reason apart from some of us look different. It is stupid all of it is especially with the virus still being a thing that is happening around the world.

Something needs to change before a much more serious threat comes and wipes us all out for new better species to take over and restart out the earth and to get rid of the plague of some human beings in this world. Change has got to happen now as I fear that it is already too late for some of us.

Day 66 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 66 of lockdown journal, what a strange day it has been hopefully some better days are coming around the corner.

Today was a very strange day I have been working on a little project that I am trying to get to work and it is something else to fill my time with as well. It has been a strange day I have been arguing with that girl because she lied to me again and tried to hide something else from me and now I am sick of it. I have put up with it for too long thinking that she would change but that is not going to happen it looks like. 

Tomorrow she has got to go to her dad's sister's funeral so if I am going to end things with her then it is going to be after that because I have respect for her and would not do something like that to her. If I can not get my project to work tonight then I am going to work on it tomorrow whilst I wait in for my package. Just when I thought that things were going right something else happens.

I am sick of all of it at this point I thought that there could be something between us I thought that we could work things out but we have tried and it has still ended up like this. I know that she is going to lie to me again and I can not stand it anymore I am sick of it all of it. It is time for either her to change her ways or for me to just move on so that it is not my problem anymore.

I am pretty sure that even if we where not on lockdown then something like this would have happened and I think that is probably the worse part. I was nice to her and I tried my best with her to show her that things are different between us but it turns out for her they were different for all of the wrong reasons. 

Relationships are always complicated but when the trust is gone there really isn't much work to get that back no matter how much they say that they have changed them haven't and it is actually now as I write this that I have released it. Some people just really shock me with there actions and what they do to you.

It is time to change things quickly and it is time to stop taking rubbish from other people and to stop giving people everything to get nothing in return. I was actually just on the phone to her to try and talk about it to see if we could sort things out and she put the phone down on me because I was talking down to her after she disrespected me.

Trump To Shut Down Social Media

Donald Trump is planning on shutting down/ restricting Americans the access to social media as a backlash from one of his tweets.

This all started a few days ago when someone told Trump to fact check under his tweets and as soon as one person did it a lot more people followed it. The backlash from this was astronomical. Instead of Trump or Trumps, social media team just delete the tweet from existence they have decided that they are going to try and ban social media sites completely. He is going after Twitter and Facebook so that his precious reputation does not fall into shambles. 

He is going to turn that country into China trying to ban things online. This will be the start of his mass censoring of the online world I wonder what he will ban next will it be newspapers or something much worse. I don't think he realizes that people can use VPNs to still access Twitter and all of that stuff online and it is not like it is hard to do either. I hope for America that he decides not to do this or does not pursue it as it will result in much more backlash than he is already facing.

There is some controversy around this "Fact-Checking" as there always is but it seems Mark Zuckerberg is on the side of Trump as he has said that twitter was wrong to fact check Trump's tweets. It is hard to tell what is actually facts nowadays as most of the facts are surrounded by layers and layers of rubbish like an onion.

I am sure that if trump tries to go through with this then everyone will go against him and as it is right now not many people like him only a few that do not realize all of the lives lost to his ruling. I think it is time that there was someone better in the office someone who actually knows how to run the country. I think he also needs to speak out about all of the publicity around George Floyd as well because someone needs to go for murder with that. 

I do not like talking politics but when someone tries to take down social media that's where I have a problem because of all of the people that it has helped especially through the lockdown. I guess Trump does not realise this as long as his precious image is still intact.

Secrets And Lies

Currently, some people think it is okay to lie about something because they think that the truth will never come out but that is where they are wrong.

The truth always comes out in the end no matter how well you manage to hide it or if you think that you have managed to keep it hidden for a long time. No matter what happens the truth will and always does come out. There is a difference between lying to someone and keeping secrets from them. 

Everybody has got secrets that they want to keep hidden from the world and that is okay, if someone knows your secrets then you would probably trust that person not tell everyone about them but when you are keeping a person a secret that is where the line gets a bit fuzzy.

There is no reason as to why you should keep someone that you know a secret because they will hate and I know they might agree to you doing it in the first place but that is just so that they don't hurt your feelings but there will be a time where everything comes out. When that time comes everything you have done with that person will come out so you have got to pick who you trust very carefully as you might end up trusting the wrong person and it will all come out. 

The important thing to remember it is okay to keep secrets to your self and it is okay to die with those secrets because only you will know them and it might be sensitive information that might destroy lives. But, when you start to lie to someone then it becomes a problem as they will find out the truth and it will be very ugly when they do.

Once, someone has lied to you then it is very hard to trust them again and most of the time you will not be able to trust them again. For example, nearly every day with this girl that I have been seeing something else has come out that she has lied about and I am starting to think that now that the trust is broken then there will be no coming back from it. 

I think it is time to live a much more private lifestyle only tell people what they need to know and stop sharing everything with people in my life when they don't do the same thing for me. A private life is a happy life. From now on I know who I have in my corner fighting for me and that is me. I will still be sharing things with the blog of course to keep you all entertained through this lockdown.

Day 65 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 65 of the lockdown journal and today was the best day I have had in a very long time.

Today I managed to see that girl again and we have sorted things out kind of and I also went on a walk as well which was very nice. It was very sunny so I managed to work on my tan a bit as well. I also got over 600 page views today which was very good. That is the most page views I have got in one day ever.

Tomorrow I am going to possibly go shopping or have a look at a shop that I have been wanting to go in for ages and see what they have got. I will check online as well first to make sure that they have got what I need first because I am not going out for no reason. 

This lockdown has started to feel much better and I want to take this time to welcome and thank all of the new readers I have gained these past few days. If you are new here feel free to check out some more of my other posts I promise you that you will not be let down. 

I have been feeling very good about myself today and I think it was because I saw that girl again. She has been very kind to me and yes things are still complicated and all of that and there are still some trust issues but it feels like things are starting to get better. Hopefully, this time I do not get played and get hurt again.

Lockdown life has started to get better, no it is not perfect but it is getting easier to deal with and it is getting easier as the days go by. I forgot to say that I am waiting for a package again tomorrow so I will have to go out in the morning if I want to go out so that I do not miss the parcel coming. I imagine that online seller's profits have been amazing these past few months and there have been a lot of new online businesses that I have seen that look like they are only going to last throughout this lockdown.

Let's hope for many more good days like today and we can all get through hopefully, the last stretch of this lockdown together and go to a new normal.

How To Wrap Text Around Images In The New Version Of Blogger

The new version of Blogger has now been released and after June we are going to be forced to use it. There have been problems with trying to wrap text around images so here is a how-to guide to try and simplify it.

Step 1-

Write a paragraph in your blog post for where you want the image to be next to. For example, I am writing this post and then after I have finished this paragraph I am going to add the image that I want next to it so you can see how it is done. 

Step 2-

Now you have got the first paragraph done click at the start of that paragraph and then insert an image. The image will appear above the post which is normal but now you have got the image one the post. 

Step3

Once, the image is added to the page then you need to justify it. To do this click on the image and then you will see some lines appear one will be left one will be centered and then one will be to the right. You can decide which side you would like the image on. The image above I used right justify and then the image below I used left justify. 

This should fix any problems that you have been having, I know it is complicated but it does work. If you would a video showing exactly how to do it then let me know but this should be easy enough to follow. If you are still having problems with it then leave a comment and I will be sure to try and get it to work for you. 

Now that I have found this out I am really liking the new blogger layout. It has got all of the same options as before just in a more complex way. 

If you follow the 3 step plan above you should be able to use the new Blogger just as well as the old one it will take time to try and understand all of it but I am sure that everything is still there and is just as good if not better than previous versions of Blogger.

The New Blogger Update

As of June this year we are all going to have to use the new updated version of blogger so I recommend you get friendly with it before it is forced on us.

I am actually writing this post using the new version of blogger and so far it is very good so let's see how it manages with images. The new version of Blogger shows you statistics much clearer than the previous version but I feel like this new version is still missing a few features.

Problems-

So far the only problem that I have had with this version of Blogger is when I have been adding images into blog posts. The old version made it so much easier for you to do this but for some reason, they have made it extra complicated and we have also lost the ability to wrap text around images. As you can see from the image on the left I have found a way around that so I will make a post telling you how you can do it. 

Positives-

The statistics are easier to read and it has got a much more professional look to it. Before this update making blog posts did look a bit old school but now it has got this new look. I am really liking the new look to it and it is much easier to find tools that you can use to make your blog post better. Usually, with a new update, this means that they are going to be adding more features to it in the future and I hope that they do so that more people will be persuaded to use Blogger instead of Wordpress.

I know that Blogger is forcing us to use this version of Blogger but I think it will be for the better as it will really help our blog posts grow and it will also make them much more professional. It can be very challenging for new bloggers to try and figure everything out so hopefully, this new version is making it simpler to get started.

I will continue to use this new version of Blogger to try and get used to it before it is forced upon us. I am sure that this change is for the better but I would like the old version of adding images back to make our blog posts better.

Day 64 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 64 of lockdown journal and what a journey it really has been, accomplished many things today.

Day 64 Of Lockdown Journal

Today has been a good day I have managed to get some newish tires for my car and I also went on a walk today which was very refreshing. My back has still been hurting but not as much as it was yesterday so it seems like it is getting better. My hayfever has been playing up a bit today but I imagine that is just because I have spent a lot of time outdoors. 

Tomorrow I am going to see that girl again as I do miss her but it is still difficult between us as we both still need time to get over things. I am sure that it won't take too long for us both to get over but it does need more time. I might not be posting as much tomorrow as I am going to be with her but I will do as soon as I get the chance to and I will make sure that I post my daily update as usual.

All of this is very complicated just like a lot of things in life but it is how we deal with it and how we get over it which is the most important part. Tomorrow I am hoping it is going to be a good day and I hope that we do not argue. I will be getting up early so that I can get ready to go and see and so I get to spend as much as possible with her. 

Things are getting complicated because her family is not so keen on me and she has to tell them that she is not seeing me in order for her to actually see me which is not right I just hope that she does tell her mum at some point that she is seeing me as I am not going to be kept a secret again. I have done that once I will not do that again. 

My mum is going back to work again tomorrow so I will not be seeing her around the house as much but I will still see her when she gets in from work. I am still looking for ways to make some money so that I can pay for my insurance when the time comes for it. 

I have been feeling very highly of myself today I am not sure if it is because I got a lot done or if it was because there has been some good weather and I was able to just relax and not pay attention to anything else and just chill for a few hours.

Enjoying The Outdoors

In times like these it is important that we do not lose touch with the outside world and the wonderful nature that surrounds us.

When you have got some free time I would recommend that you spend it outdoors in nature like me, for example, I had some spare time today and I went and sunbathed for a few hours in a nice quiet open field. It was very nice just to lay down and listen to all of the birds chirping away and taking a few seconds away from a very busy life.

 Before this lockdown happened we use to take advantage of nature and destroy building houses and littering everywhere but ever since that got taken away from us we have released that we took it for granted. Now we jump at the opportunity to go outside for a walk as it is the only freedom that we get from the house. I think this way of life needs to continue even when they ease the lockdown or even remove the lockdown completely as it is very soothing being in nature as long as you do not have her.

The summertime always comes as a scare for me because I have got really bad hayfever and I had to go to the hospital with it last year to make sure I got the right medication for it. Every year it is a gamble for when my hayfever is going to come and for the past few weeks it has been okay but today it has been a real struggle. It is scary because it is the same symptoms as the virus so if you do not think about it then you would be scared and think you have got the virus when in reality it is just hayfever.

When you get outside you are instantly surrounded by nature and that is the best part no matter where you look you will always be surrounded by it. After this lockdown lets do more to protect our nature and the parks so if something like this happens we have all got somewhere nice and clean to relax that is not in the house.

Day 63 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 63 of lockdown and each day is a new challenge to try and conquer.

Day 63 Of Lockdown Journal

Today has been a long day and I am really feeling the effects of all of the hard work that I did yesterday. I think I have pulled a muscle in my back as it is really hurting today. I was meant to go to the garage today to get a new tire for my car but they were shut so I did not get a chance to go. It has been a long day of just trying to recover from the hard work that I did.

Tomorrow, I am going to get a new tire for my car but I will make sure that I check that the garage is open first before I go so I do not get stuck again. I would also like to go on a walk as well depending on how my back is feeling obviously so as I do not want to push it and do more damage to it if it is still hurting.

I only pulled a muscle because I went from not doing anything for the past few months to a long day of doing lots of gardening which has just knackered me out. It is all part of the no pain no gain I guess and it is also preparing me for when I do go back to work but that won't be for a few months yet.

There has been a lot of drama around the lockdown with certain members of the parliament not following the rules or thinking that the rules do not apply to them. There are lots of controversies surrounding it and I hope to see that the person that has done it will face some sort of consequences for what he has done.

I have been feeling very unmotivated today I guess it is because of my back being in a lot of pain but I still managed to make some blog posts so that is a good thing. I am not sure how many I am going to make tomorrow as I know that I am going to be out for most of the day. Just to update you on what is happening with that girl we are still talking about and seeing how things go for a bit before we decide to move forward or not.

I am still shocked at how well my blog posts have been doing for the past few days and I just want to say thank you for joining me. Don't forget to share this page with a few friends so that I can reach as many people as possible.

Tracking Bracelets For COVID-19

There is a new type of smartwatch/ smart wrist band coming out that will track users and alert them if they are breaking social distancing rules.

This band has already been implemented in Bahrain in India and so far it has worked. This wristband will track the user's location to see where they go and if they go and meet anyone else. I think that it is paired with a phone through Bluetooth and then sends a signal to the phone or it can be paired through wifi. It is a very simple design but it could have a massive impact on the virus.

Since there is no cure for this virus yet we have got to come up with different ways that we can do to prevent the spread of this virus further. Ideally, a massive lockdown would do it for a very long time but nobody wants that and the economy could definitely not handle that. Yes, if you wear this then you are waiving your rights to privacy as they will have your location at all times but that is a small price to pay for another life.

This bracelet is supposed to alert you when it comes in contact with a person who is too close to you it beeps to alert you and others around you that they are too loose. I imagine this only works if the other people are also wearing the bracelet otherwise it will have nothing to ping from apart from another person's smartphone that might be in a different location. The bracelet is a cool concept to understand and I can see this working only if everyone complies with it.

In places like America where they are trying to end the lockdown and have more freedom then this might work over there but I imagine that they will protest this if they are forced to wear it. There will always be someone who has got a problem with something just to complicate things but it is how we managed these people and situations that make us better than them.

I hope to see more countries implementing this bracelet but I want it to be better first like answer questions to how they are going to charge it and how they are going to make people wear it. Let me know your thoughts on this bracelet idea is it good for the current situation in the world or should we find another solution. 

Day 62 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 62 of lockdown journal and today was a very long day filled with work and stress.

Today I went across to my neighbor's house as he wanted his drive clearing and his garden doing so I went across and helped him out he also knows the financial trouble I am currently in and offered to pay me for the time that I worked on his garden which was very nice of him. My hands are still sore from it and my back is killing me from doing it all day. Apart from that today was a good day. I did not argue with that girl and we seem to be going back on track I am not sure how long that will last for of if I can trust her again but one day we will get there.

Tomorrow I have got to get a new tire for my car again as my current tire is very worn out and is on its last legs. I am going to make sure that I phone the garage first to see if they have got a tire and if they are open as it is a bank holiday Monday tomorrow so they might be closed. If they are closed then I might just do some more work on my blog page and just general stuff like that.

I am struggling to say the least with my finances as I have got to soon fork out for some insurance for my car and I am not sure how I am going to be able to afford it given everything that is going on and me being out of work. It is causing a lot of stress and I am so tired of filling out quotes to see that it is more expensive than the last.

If I manage to find some cheap insurance I will let you know but I know that it is not likely to be happening and I know that I am going to have to sell my kidney to try and afford some. Hopefully, this year once all of this lockdown stuff is over I am able to afford insurance without having to worry about it too much. That would be a dream.

I have got to make sure that I focus on the positives and try not to let this overwhelm me too much. There are so many more positive things that I can focus on plus my insurance is not yet so I will be alright for a bit.

Working During Lockdown

Right now we are all trying to make ends meet as much as possible and are just trying to survive on whatever income we are getting.

I have just got back from cleaning my neighbors garden for him as he is old and he paid me for the work that I did and it got me thinking I wonder how many other younger people are doing things like this since there income has stopped. Have they tried to find new ways to make some extra cash or are they just waiting for this all to blow over to return back to their normal job?

I am obviously not going to become a full-time gardener but it has helped to put a few more pennies in my pocket to help go towards a new tire for my car. There are a lot of job opportunities out there right now given everything that is going on but is it worth the risk. If you get a job right now the chances are that you will get part-time and then you will get sacked after this is all over.

You have got to think about your family's health as well because let's say you get into a supermarket job serving people for their shopping you are putting your health at risk right now as you do not know if they have got the virus or not. You then might pass this onto your family without you knowing which would be very bad as that is the last thing you want to do given everything that is going on just for a few extra pennies in your pockets.

It is very hard right now to try and make ends meet and it will be like that for a while but we have all got to get through and there are options that we can take to make sure that we get through this. Make sure you stay healthy through this and are still earning some money where you can. It was nice to work with my hands again and sweating on little sleep again. It was like I was just at work again.

Twitter Bot Accounts Pushing "Re-Open America"

Research has found that nearly have the twitter accounts that are pushing to re-open America could be bot accounts.

These fake accounts have always been a problem on twitter trying to share and spread horrible news or political points that do not go down well with the other members of the public. Almost half of the accounts that are pushing to try and re-open America have been found to be bots just trying to spread their message throughout the site.


There was another study that found nearly half of the accounts talking about 5G causing the virus where also bots just trying to spread the fake news. I wonder if it is the same accounts that were talking about 5G as it is now trying to re-open America. I urge you that if you see these accounts that look like they are bots to report them to twitter as I am sure that it breaks the terms of service that they have put out.

We need to stop these bot accounts before they spread a message that could kill us all and realistically they already have with trying to re-open America. I understand that America is the land of the free and that they have a lot of rights but they really need to think about it when the lockdown was put in place to save them, just because they can not see the virus does not mean that it is real. There have been many reports of the virus in America but they have seemed to ignore it because they would rather have freedom than there live.

I think that Twitter needs to do a big clean out of bot accounts so that it can put an end to this horrible news. There should be a warning or something like I mentioned in my previous post so that people do not get tricked into reading something and believing in something that is not real. Obviously, people have all got there right to have freedom of speech but they need to monitor the posts somehow.

There needs to be a big clean up of all social media sites to clean out of all of the bot accounts and the fake accounts so that we can share things from real people. It should be a place where we can share our views on things and not be forced to see these fake accounts. Let's clean up the platforms that we share things on so that we do not get shown all of this fake news and bad press.

Day 61 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 61 of the being in lockdown and so far it has proven tougher than I thought it would.

Today was an alright day it was not great and it was not good it was just alright. I made it through the day so that is all that matters. I had another argument with that girl again and things have got a lot more complicated between us but we are still trying. My mum is back from work now for the next couple of days so that is a good thing as I get to see her but that is probably the only good thing that has happened today.

Tomorrow is probably going to be another alright day nothing much will happen I will just try and make it through the day again. I want to have a good day again but I am not sure if that will be possible with everything that is going. I will be spending more time with my mum tomorrow if she is awake when I am, our body clocks are different as she has still got to go to work whereas I don't have to really.

This lockdown is really testing whatever relationship I have got with that girl and it is also making me question everything again which I do not like. I am still not sure if I ever will be able to trust her again I want to try but I know it is going to be very hard. I am starting to question the small things and that is not good. I want to try my best to get through this but I am not sure if it will be possible.

Tomorrow I am going to be focusing a lot more on myself and just enjoying the day as best as I can without thinking too much about everything else that is going on. It is going to be complicated for us for a couple of weeks I hope that we make it through this without any more arguments or anything like that. I hate having to question the little things but when someone breaks your trust it is the only thing you can do.

I wish things were different and I wish that I did not have to overthink things as much as I do. I hope that anyone else that is not living with there significant other can make it through this lockdown as well because I know from experience that it is really going to test the strength of your relationships.

Positive Of Lockdown

This lockdown has been hard but let's focus on some of the positives of what this lockdown has done.

I am going to state the obvious and say that this lockdown has meant that we are all safe and that a lot fewer people have been infected with the virus but I am thinking more deeply hear. It is not just about people not catching the virus it has given earth rest from all of the pollution as well.

With everyone being in lockdown then no one has been going outside and littering which means less litter that has ended up going in our oceans which has effected the wildlife as less of them are being hurt as well. Since we are not allowed to go anywhere then we have not had to use our cars which means that there is less pollution filling up our atmosphere. There has been less demand for certain products as well which means that they are cheaper and they also do not need to produce as much. Just look at the price of fuel it is the lowest it has ever been for around 20 years.

The oceans are getting clearer as well and I do not mean there is suddenly less rubbish in them as there is going to always be rubbish in them unless we start to clean them up but humans have not been going to the beach as much for a holiday so there has been less litter going in them. Just look at how clear the oceans are right now this just shows us what effect we are actually having on our planet and we really need to think about that in the future when the lockdown is released.

This lockdown has also made us appreciate the health care system that we have got in place in each country as well and we have shown so much support for them in these past few weeks it has been unreal. I hope this makes us realize where the funding should be going and how much we actually rely on them to be there for us in our time of need. For them this is a 24/7 job they do not take breaks they are always on the clock ready to save us even if there is not a pandemic going on. I think in the future they need a lot more support from the government so that they can continue the great work they are doing. 

There have been lots of support for frontline workers as well but they would not have got it unless they were called front line workers. If this pandemic did not happen then they would have still been taken for granted. We need to think about this in the future and show these front line heroes that they have our support even if there is not a pandemic going on. Just think the next time you get the post thank them for what they are doing right now and show your appreciation for them.

This lockdown has helped us all realize what we took for granted before and how much we actually should be exercising. The government told us we are allowed to go on a walk and then suddenly the whole country turned into joggers as it was the only way to leave the house. We need to be outside more and we need to be taking care of our local parks and nature reserves a lot more so that we can continue to enjoy them for the rest of our lives.

It has also opened up our eyes to mental health as before it was kind of looked over but now we are all really focusing on being there for each other and not pushing people away. We need to keep this support going for people even after the lockdown has ended so that everyone in this country is there for each other and that we stop the hate for each other.

A lot of hate has been stopped due to this lockdown as we have realized there are much bigger problems going on in the world instead of hating each other we have been there for each other and shown that we can support each other before we were just choosing not to.

60 days of being in lockdown and there are many more to come even if the restrictions have been lifted.

Day 60 Of Lockdown Journal

Today was a good day I managed to do some more work on my blog page and I have also managed to look at some quotes for insurance. I did go to work today so that made me feel loved although there were some technical problems at work with the strain that this lockdown has put on WiFi. This was the 60th day of being in lockdown and what a journey it has been.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day as well, I plan on keeping up with the blog posts and then watching some Youtube or Netflix or something like that. I have been waiting for a parcel to arrive and if I wake up in enough time I would like to go for a walk if the weather holds up. It has been very windy today which has been annoying.

I am still having trust issues with that person but I am trying to get over them it is just every time that we try and build some trust up something else happens and it is brought back down back to where it started. It is going to take a lot of effort and a lot of time to build up to what we had before and I know that it might not be perfect but I hope that one day we will.

It will take time it will be a lot of hard work and a lot of heartache I just that in the end, it is all worth it.  So, here we are again after what had been a good couple of days back down to where we started. Eventually, my life will start looking up and things will start to get back on track.

Antarctica Turning Green With Pollution & Climate Change

Antarctica is turning green because of the pollution and due to the climate change that is happening around the world.

The actual reason for this change and for the green color is not because it is going moldy but it is because there is a new algae that is affecting the ice in Antarctica which is turning it green. This algae is producing food for other organisms to feed off. This green algae has been present in Antarctica for a while but only recently because of the climate change it has spread across the rest continent.

This leaves the question is it too late to try and change the effects that we have had on the climate and is it too late to try and prevent this inevitable change in the climate. Climate is affected by a lot of things such as the amount of pollution in the world and global warming as well.

When someone says global warming they think it is the amount of pollution that we are giving off into the environment but this is not just the case. It is the amount of heat energy that we are producing as well and the amount of sunlight that gets trapped by the o-zone layer heating up the earth.

Maybe it is too late to try and change or even revert the change that we have done to the climate already. We did plant so many trees's a few months ago that has had a big change to the environment and now we are all in lockdown that has put a dent in the amount of pollution we are giving off but I personally do not think it is enough.

Even if we manage to decrease the amount of pollution that we are giving off I think that we have already gone too far and we are just putting off the inevitable of the fact that earth can not support all of us. That does not mean go wild keep polluting the earth without thinking about it, we still need to be conscious of the fact that we are polluting the earth and that something serious needs to change.

A Special Day

Everybody has got a special day that they hold close to them whether it is their anniversary or if it is someone's birthday.

A special day is a day that has got a lot of meaning to you not everybody needs to know why this day is special just along as you do. This is a day that you celebrate every year without fail and it can come in many different ways. It could be a birthday, holiday e.g Christmas, anniversary, or just a day that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Sometimes other people will try and go out of there way to ruin this day for you but the most important thing to remember is why it is important to you. They might not know why and they might try there best to spoil it but whatever they do just focus on the day and not everyone else around you.

For me, my special day is the anniversary of when me and my girlfriend got together. Every year we come together to celebrate this no matter what is going on we still try and see each other on this day. This day will always be close to me and even though things are not so good between us right now we still managed to come together and forget about everything so that we could celebrate this day together.

We have a tradition that we follow and that is that no matter what happens on this day we will always be together even if it is just for an hour, we will still make it to each other and we will still have a good day.

That day was yesterday for me and even though things aren't great and we are in lockdown we still managed to do see each other and have a really nice day together. I am so pleased that we managed to overcome this and that we managed to spend some of the day together.

59 days of being in lockdown and it is still a rollercoaster of emotions every day.

Today was a great day it was mine and my kind of girlfriends 4 year anniversary of us being together. It was complicated to try and figure out how to see each other on it but I decided to put some effort in and go and see her for a change as it was the only for us to see each other. I had a really good day and I have been very happy throughout the day.

Tomorrow I am going to try and get some more blog posts out before I have got to go to work again. I have been having some complications with my WiFi so I hope that it holds up through work and it does not crash whilst I am at work. I would also like to try and do some admin stuff for the blog page as well just to get it up and running as efficiently as possible.

There have been many ups and downs through this lockdown but managing to see someone else really has made it better. When we first went into lockdown I was happy because I no longer needed an excuse to stay in the house. The first few weeks went through easy but then it suddenly became a lot harder. But, we are all making it through this.

In the future, we are going to look back at this time that we have spent in lockdown and realize how much it has changed us all. I hope that it is making us all better people and that we all have good lives after this lockdown is over. I would like to get some more sleep tonight as I have not been getting much sleep lately but I am feeling it tonight as I have had a long day.

The weather we have had for the past few days has been absolutely amazing but it starting to become unbearable especially at night. It is getting harder to fall asleep and it is getting hard to stay focused as the heat is so distracting. I am glad that I didn't go to the beach because just as I thought everyone else had decided to go there as well.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for some much better days to come our way for the future and to make our lives better.

Spotify Joining Twitter To Make Employees Work From Home Until 2021

A  few weeks ago twitter made the first footsteps in allowing their employees to work from home for as long as they would want.

Spotify is now joining this movement and allowing its employees to work from home for as long as they need to. They have announced that their employees can work from home until 2021 which will mean that they have the option to stay at home for longer and stay protected from this invisible enemy.

I like the fact that a lot of bigger technology companies are giving their employees the option to continue to work from home as this means that they will save money and less pollution as well as they will not have to commute to an office every day.

A lot more companies would be able to do this but they are choosing not to right now. I would like to see a lot more employees working from home in the near future so that they do not have to go to an office and a lot of the office space could be sold so that the business could have a lot more employees.

This lockdown has proven that it is possible to work from home so that all these big offices are really not necessary as all of the work can be done at home. With all of this working at home, it could really change the working environment for a long time giving more people an option for a job as they would not have to leave there home and it will change everything that we know of what it means to go to work.

This change could be a really good thing as it could have drastic impacts on pollution from the workplace and go to and from the workplace. A lot of the traffic in my local area has gone down so much as everybody is not going to work. Imagine what this could do for the emergency workers who have not got to fight through the traffic at 5 o clock when everyone is coming out of work.

Let's see a lot more companies allowing their employees to work from home for a lot longer as this will really put a big dent in the number of people infected.

Day 58 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 58 of being in this lockdown and it is now really starting to affect me.

Today was an alright day it was not a good day. I went on a walk to catch some sun whilst the weather was good which meant that I was able to get out of the house for a bit. I did some work connecting my phone to my computer so that I can play audio through my phone. My mum passed her trail course at work so that was something good.

Tomorrow would have marked me and my girlfriends 4 year anniversary together, it is going to be a really hard day. I am still unsure of what to do with her as part of me wants to get serious with her but I know she's not going to change. She can't even see me on what would have marked us being together for 4 years. That is something that you should never miss it is such an important day no matter what is happening it is still a very important day.

It is going to be hard to get through tomorrow without seeing her as I know that she won't be seeing me. The worst part is she gets my hopes up telling me that she is going to see me and all of that and when it comes round to it on an important day she is not there. I wouldn't mind if it was just any other day but it is a special day for us both.

I am still fighting the battle of is she going to do it again is she going to be better and every day it seems like the same thing over and over again. Just a let down after a letdown. I don't want that, I want something real I want someone who I can see someone who would do anything to see me just like I would for them.

Some good news, I did get my phone to work with my PC and the audio comes through nice and clear and my mum is now an official employee so that was something that we could celebrate together. I am still hoping for some better days to come my way but we will all just have to wait and see.

How To Use Your Phone As A Speaker For Your Pc

Last night I set my self the task of trying to connect my phone to my computer to use it as a speaker. It worked at last.

I tried so many different programs to try to get this to work but the only one that I found to be successful was this one called "Soundwire". All you have got to do to make this happen is to download the soundwire server onto your pc and then download the soundwire app onto your phone.

If you run into the problem of your phone not being able to find a server then try hovering over the I.P address on the PC and entering the private I.P address is more than likely going to start with 192.168 but it might be different depending on your location.

So far I have used the free version of this app and I have not had any problems, it is so convenient to have my phone next to my head as a speaker as then I do not have to deafen everyone else in the house to what film I am watching. This also means that I do not have to have a long wire connecting some head phones to the PC as this is a wireless option.

It is very easy to do and if you can I would highly recommend that you do this as you can take your phone anywhere in the house and it can still be playing audio which is great for listening to music whilst you are walking around the house.

All you have got to do is download the server for your computer and then download the app to the phone you would like to play the music on, it is as simple as that. If you do try it and do run into problems then I will be sure to assist you on anything I can.

Day 57 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 57 of being in lockdown and I am getting fed up with doing the same thing over and over again.

Today was a good day for me in lockdown I managed to get some administration stuff done for my personal files and I also managed to get a good workout in as well which has made me hurt but I also feel much better about my self. Today was a good day as I just laid in bed for most of the day and did not do a lot. I have set myself a goal that I would like to achieve at some point soon of being able to cast audio from my computer to my phone.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day as well because I have decided that whilst the weather is good I am going on a walk to the local park so I can get some fresh air and I can also work on my tan a bit more and just be out of the house. I would like to spend more time outdoors I just know that I won't because I have been feeling very unmotivated recently. 

The key to surviving this lockdown is to set yourself small goals every single day just something small to achieve s that you know that you have done something in the day. This way you can improve yourself and you can take your mind off everything else that is going on in the outside world.

There was some good news today and that is Tom Moore is going to be knighted by the Queen for his efforts that he has made to help out the NHS through these uncertain times. So, from now on he is going to be known as SIR Tom Moore. I am so proud of his efforts to help the NHS and that he refused to give up. He was a lot of motivation for a lot of people. 

I hope for a good day tomorrow and I will be sure to keep updating you all on how my time is going in lockdown and to what I manage to achieve each day.

Do You Use Dr.Google For Symptoms

There are a lot of websites that claim to show you your diagnosis based on the symptoms that you have googled. But they are wrong nearly 100% of the time.

These sites give you suggestions on what they think you might have based on a process of trial and error depending on what symptoms you give them. The majority of the time these sites are wrong and this can sometimes lead to a much more serious problem coming undetected.

This can give you a false sense of security as you might have a very serious medical condition that will go unnoticed as you will listen to what Google has got to say instead of going to the actual doctors. I would highly recommend that you go to the doctors or at least phone the doctors if you ever have a concern about your health then you should either see a doctor or at least phone them so you can speak to a proper professional and get a proper response so you do not go undiagnosed for something a lot more serious.

If you are too embarrassed to ask a doctor then you can google what your symptoms are but then make sure that you get a professional opinion as it might be a lot more serious than you think. There are always more options if you are too embarrassed to talk to a medical professional about your problems.

Please be sure to seek whatever help you need either by talking on the phone to your doctor or by going to see them and please avoid using google as your doctor as more than likely it will be wrong. There have been studies that have proven that the majority of the time when you google your symptoms they do not give you actual help and are hiding something a lot more serious.

Self Driving Cars

These cars could be becoming part of the new future, but would you trust them to make decisions that only humans can make.

Benefits Of Self Driving Cars
If everybody had them then it would remove human error on the roads and making the roads a lot safer to drive on. They would be able to take you to A to B whilst you are doing your work and they can not get distracted by other things on the road. Theses cars could also reduce the amount of pollution that a normal car would give off as it would be able to stay at a constant speed.

Negatives Of Self Driving Cars
They would have to make decisions that only humans are able to make like determine if a gap is safe enough to get your car through or if you should pull out right now if it is safe to do so. There is a reason why you have got to pass a driving test in order to be allowed to drive a car. These would only work if everyone had one of these and the self-driving cars where the only cars on the road as they would all be able to share the same system and it would remove the human error out of the decision making.

Examples Of Self Driving Cars
There are some self-driving cars that are already on the road that you might not know about. For example, Telsa have got the autopilot function that is basically self-driving but there have been examples where this does not work properly. It is great if you are going down the motorway or a highway as it can easily stay at the constant speed without having to worry about wasting fuel speeding up and slowing down.

Self Driving Taxi's
There were talks about a new taxi coming out that is self-driving and this is a great concept of just jumping in a car without having to talk to people or tell a person where you are going. This could mean Uber is out of business and it could also mean that the world we know is about to become a lot less sociable as we would not have to talk to anyone.

Day 56 Of Lockdown Journal

Day 56 of being in lockdown and so far it has been an experience, to say the least.

Today was a good day I did not do much as it was cloudy and I just wanted to spend most of the day in bed and not do a lot. I did make some very good blog posts today so if you haven't already make sure that you give them a read as you might find them very interesting.

Tomorrow I have got do some personal admin stuff and then I think I will make some more blog posts as well. I would like to go on a walk tomorrow as I think that the weather is going to be good. I want a good day just relaxing and sunbathing by myself, just relaxing and catching some sun. It sounds lovely to just have some time to relax and not have to worry about anything.

I have been feeling better about my life general there are still some down bits and some not very nice bits but I can't change them, they are not in my control. It should be another good day tomorrow I hope so anyway.

This blog page has helped me out so much from being something to fill my time with to sharing my thoughts and what is happening in my life. It is good too try and keep your mind active and busy during these uncertain times.

You might be hesitant to shop online as you want to be secure whilst doing so and you do not want to be scammed so in this article I will go into ways you can be secure whilst shopping online.

What To Avoid
You will want to avoid those websites that you have never heard of before and you will want to make sure that you are purchasing from an official website such as Amazon or eBay. You want to avoid buying from sellers who have got negative reviews about there services or products. You want to avoid prices that are too good to be true.

What To Look For On A Site
If you have searched for a product online and you can only find it from a specific store and it is not on eBay or Amazon then you are going to have to make sure that the site you are purchasing from is secure. You need to look at the URL of the site and make sure that it starts with HTTPS as this means that the site is secure. You always want to look for the little green padlock that you will find at the start of the URL or at the end of the URL this way you know that it is secure.

How To Have A Secure Account
Most of the time for these sites you will have to make an account so that they can keep your login details and suggest similar products to you for you to buy. When you are signing up to these sites you want to use a different password for every site that you use so that if there is a site that you sign up for that is not secure then they only have that one password and not have access to all of your other accounts.

A New Way To Be Secure
I have always been worried about ordering things online in case they take too much money out of my account for the product or they try to scam me for a lot more money so a way to avoid this I have got a PayPal account where I transfer the exact amount of the product to and then I use that PayPal account to purchase things so that if they try and scam me then they only have access to the exact funds of the product or service and then if they do not deliver then I can always chargeback in PayPal.

How To Avoid Scams
To avoid scam you must make sure the site you are using is secure but sometimes these scammers are smart and will find a way to get around this. You have got to make sure that what you are buying is not too good to be true. For example, if you are looking at buying something that would normally cost £50 and there is a site selling it for £10 then it is probably false and is just trying to scam you out of that money.

If you follow some of the tips in this article then you should not have any problems when you are ordering online and you should be able to make an order successfully and secure. Remember to check the seller's reputation and the reviews of the seller and the product that you are buying. Do not risk it if it is too good to be true as you will fall victim to a scam.

Make sure that you are staying safe online whilst you have got to order a lot more things online than you use to. Please stay safe and try not to fall victim to these horrible scammers.

Classic Blogger VS New Blogger

I have been using blogger for a while now to post my blog updates and  I have been trying to compare the new blogger to the old style of Blogger and I know which one is better.

The Classic Blogger
I really like this version of blogger not just because I am used to it but because of the features that it allows you to use when you are making blog posts. It has so many more features like being able to wrap text around an image like you see on the left here. It is also a lot more user friendly and gives you a lot more options to make your blog unique.

The New Version Of Blogger
This new version of blogger has limited its users on the features that they can use for there blog posts and they have removed a lot of things which I used a lot to make my blog posts better. This version has got a much better layout but it does need improving and it needs more features adding to it.

Can You Choose Which Version You Use
Yes, if you scroll down to the side of the option then you will see a button that says try a new version of Blogger or revert back to classic depending on which version you are already using. If you are using the new version of Blogger and do not like it but do not want to change the site that you host your blog page on then I would recommend that you try changing back to the classic version of Blogger as I feel it is much better.

My Preference 
I had tried using the new version of blogger for a few months to see if I could get a hang of it but there were so many features missing that I had to change back to the classic version of blogger which seems to be much better. In the future, I hope that blogger adds these old features to the new version of Blogger so that more people will be persuaded to use it.
