Antarctica Turning Green With Pollution & Climate Change

Antarctica is turning green because of the pollution and due to the climate change that is happening around the world.

The actual reason for this change and for the green color is not because it is going moldy but it is because there is a new algae that is affecting the ice in Antarctica which is turning it green. This algae is producing food for other organisms to feed off. This green algae has been present in Antarctica for a while but only recently because of the climate change it has spread across the rest continent.

This leaves the question is it too late to try and change the effects that we have had on the climate and is it too late to try and prevent this inevitable change in the climate. Climate is affected by a lot of things such as the amount of pollution in the world and global warming as well.

When someone says global warming they think it is the amount of pollution that we are giving off into the environment but this is not just the case. It is the amount of heat energy that we are producing as well and the amount of sunlight that gets trapped by the o-zone layer heating up the earth.

Maybe it is too late to try and change or even revert the change that we have done to the climate already. We did plant so many trees's a few months ago that has had a big change to the environment and now we are all in lockdown that has put a dent in the amount of pollution we are giving off but I personally do not think it is enough.

Even if we manage to decrease the amount of pollution that we are giving off I think that we have already gone too far and we are just putting off the inevitable of the fact that earth can not support all of us. That does not mean go wild keep polluting the earth without thinking about it, we still need to be conscious of the fact that we are polluting the earth and that something serious needs to change.
