Do You Believe In Luck ?

Most people say to you good luck when you are about to go and do something that is new to you or that they might find scary, but it is all based on luck like some cosmic power that is going to control you to see if you get it right or not. 

I think it is down to chance and that you can improve your odds by practicing or doing something else to improve your odds. It is like taking a test you can leave it down to luck to see if you get a good grade or you can revise which will improve your chance of getting a good grade because you will know if you get a good grade based on how much revision you have done. Or, you can look at it like getting a new job, the boss is taking a chance in hiring you and if you have had a lot of jobs before that and you know people in the field then you are more likely to get the job. The employer is more likely to pick you if you have got a good CV and you have had lots of practice they will not go on a limb and hire you just for you looking good or because you show up to an interview wearing a suit, they want to be impressed and it is up to you to confirm that their choice in hiring you is correct. 

People believe in luck because they think they have got no control over it but this is not the case you have a lot more control over it than you think. Just like winning the lottery, you can say that it is lucky if you do this but then again it is just like any other system. If you buy 1000 lottery tickets then you have more of a chance to win than someone who just bought 1. I do like to believe in luck sometimes because I like the idea of something higher up controlling your life and leaving it down to chance. It is lucky if you get viral because you can make a lot of content but you just need that one person to share it and you will watch your followers grow massively. So why not try and change your luck and share this page, it might give you good luck :)
