DO NOT USE ZOOM

I know a lot of people will be using this app so that they can stay in touch with friends during the lockdown but please please please do not use it. There have been major security risks that have been realized for people using this app and it has even been blocked in New York. 

This app was originally started to only be used on a small scale so their security did not have to be so high but then when everyone came on lockdown people started to hack Zoom. The app was started so that you could broadcast your webcam to people watching this is scary because it means that the app has got access to your webcam which means hackers will also have access to your webcam which is what you do not want.

I urge you to not use this app and if you have got it to delete it right away and remove it completely from your phone as your security comes before anything. There are other ways you can talk to your friends like a group call on WhatsApp since that is the most secure app that I know of. There have been reports that a nursery was using this app to monitor baby cams which then got hacked into. How messed up can people really be?

Please make sure that you do not use this app or even download it until they have fixed their security measures. I want all of you to stay safe and not have your privacy compromised for the sake of having an app. There are always alternatives so do not let your privacy be compromised for the sake of 5 minutes on the phone to your friend.
