Crime and Coronavirus

I was just thinking to myself I wonder how crime has affected the amount of crime, has it gone down because everyone is inside or has it gone up because a lot of people are reporting on people who are breaking the rules of the lockdown. According to the facts, crime has dropped by about 20% but the concern for domestic abuse and online fraud is likely to go up.

I know that some local shops have been robbed because there is less security on them and the fact that the police are focusing most of their time to catch and fine people who are breaking the lockdown rules means that they are not out stopping things like robberies. I have not seen a single post online about how this lockdown might affect people who are involved in domestic abuse maybe there might be a lot of deaths not just because of coronavirus but because people can not be in the same house as there partner because of previous attempts of violence.

I wonder how long before people say that they have had enough of this lockdown and decided that they want to riot against the police and the government to let the people have their freedom back. The UK will find out in about 8 days to see if they are going to keep the lockdown or if they are going to remove some of the restrictions. I do not think it will be long before the people start to rise up against the police and take back their freedom even though they should be staying inside to help protect the rest of the people who are.
A little bit of humor to help you laugh in the time of need. We all know what happened to the last family that was forced to stay inside their house for too long...
But I am sure we will all be okay :)

As always stay safe... IFB
