COVID-19 Vaccines Being Tested In UK

Over the past few days, I have seen different reports on a vaccine being tested for human trials for the COVID-19 in the UK more specifically in Oxford in the UK but is this a good idea. 

Obviously, a vaccine for the coronavirus would be brilliant it would but an end to the lockdowns and it would prevent it from becoming an outbreak again and people would be immune to it which is a good thing. The human trials for such a vaccine have been tested in Oxford in the UK so we will soon find out if it works. I hope this does work but I do not think it will and I will be going into why I do not think it will work now...

Usually, a vaccine will cure one strand of disease and as we know right now there are at least 2 different strains of coronavirus that a human can be infected with, so what will this vaccine be a cure for the first not so deadly strand or the second much more deadly and infectious strand. We do not even know what the side effects of this vaccine will be, just take a look at that SARS vaccine that had very serious side effects that we did not know about until the next generation of babies where born.

A Vaccine of this scale should take about 8 months so why has it been possible to make this vaccine in less than a month unless there is something that they are not telling us about this disease and it is not as serious as we thought. If this vaccine does work then it will be great and we will just have to gamble with what the side effects will be for the future. I am guessing that they are going of the mindset it doesn't matter about the side effects because it won't affect us right now. 

Hopefully, this vaccine does work and it does cure the coronavirus without any serious side effects and then we can all get back to a somewhat normal lifestyle after we have had the vaccine. If this vaccine does work it does leave the question to who will get it first, will they give it to the most important people first like queens and presidents then other people with very high social status and just leave the lower working class to suffer for longer until they can mass produce the vaccine.  Will they do it with people born on a specific date and what does this mean for us in isolation will they bring the vaccine to us or will we have to go out and mix with a lot of other people who have had the virus. 

This vaccine does leave a lot of questions yet to be answered and much like everything else that has had happened with the COVID-19 outbreak the only thing we can do is wait and keep staying inside and staying safe. As always from me...
