FIRE At Chernobyl

There is a huge forest fire near the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl that poses a huge risk to radiation being leaked from the plant again which causes a major threat to wildlife and humans near it.

The fire has been going on for the past couple of hours now and it is causing the radiation levels to rise drastically in the air because of all of the radioactive material that is now being blown up into the air by the heat of the fire. There are lots of fire crews already on scene try there best to put this fire out before it reaches the radioactive plants. The fire is less than 1 mile away from the power station that is there and if it reaches the radioactive power plant then the amount of radiation that could be leaked from the plant could be catastrophic.

Chernobyl was a bad idea when they first made it and it just got worse and worse when it exploded I imagine that if the fire reaches the reactors that are still leftover then the effects could be like the setting off nuclear bombs. Like this world did not have enough already going on. I hope that the fire crew manages to put out the fire without it causing too much damage and I hope that the fire crews are safe whilst they are near the radioactive plant.

Stay Safe All IFB :)
