They have banned and removed events that were set up for a protest in Michigan. Protest have been appearing every but mostly in America as they have been on full lockdown for a while but not nearly as long as some of the other countries. I do not understand why America has got to be different and protest against the lockdowns as they have been put in place to prevent people from losing lives but people just won't listen.
Facebook is trying to help America by stopping any protest from being organized on their site. There were rumors before of Facebook doing this but now they have actually started to but some action behind there words and have started removing posts and banning people from creating events like this and if people find a way around this then Facebook has removed events that have got anything to do with this protest.
I think this is a good idea as then it will stop people from finding out about these meetings and then it stops people from having a reason to leave there house or anything like that. If less people find out about these events then less and fewer people will be going to them so then fewer people will be exposed to other people who might potentially have the virus. I hope that we see this plan being implemented across all of the other forms of social media so that these protests eventually just die out.
